West Adams Business Community Gathers at WABID’s First Mixer

The West Adams Business Improvement District (WABID) hosted its first ever Small Business Mixer on September 12 at The Blending Lab Winery! 75 business owners and employees working along West Adams Boulevard gathered to enjoy an evening of food, wine, collaboration, and fun!

Hosted at The Blending Lab with catering by Vicky's All Day, the mixer also featured a lively raffle with prizes donated by Pascal Shirley Print Shop, Hills and Heights Pilates, Matt Tente Headshots, Divine Glow Esthetics, Antiqua Jewelry, MIAN, and Alta Adams.

Creating a sense of place and neighborhood identity enlivens, uplifts, and connects not only commercial corridors, but entire communities. And, of course, successful commercial corridors support local economies and create jobs for area residents.

While one purpose of the BID is simply to supplement municipal services such as sidewalk cleaning, tree trimming, and graffiti removal, they can actually achieve so much more. By supporting the local business community, the West Adams BID is vital to this historic Los Angeles neighborhood, and flourishing neighborhoods are good for everyone.

Cheers to Community
