During the meeting, board members, guests, and BID management discussed the current state of the BID, its goals, and actionable items while enjoying a delicious meal from the district's very own Vee's Cafe.

Sidewalk vending is legal in LA County, thanks to SB 946.

SB 946 ends the criminalization of sidewalk vending in California and allows local authorities to adopt non-criminal laws to protect public health, safety, and welfare.

LAFD CERT Program in West Adams

An all-new Community Emergency Response Team Basic Training Class is coming to the West Adams area of Los Angeles starting March 7, 2024, and continuing for seven successive Thursdays.

The class will teach attendees the basics of skills needed to take care of themselves, their families, and their community in the event of a disaster, which delays professional responders.
